Growing up in Cedartown, GA instilled in me the value of community and the importance of relationships. This sense of connection has deeply influenced my approach to financial advising, where I prioritize building genuine, long-lasting relationships with my clients.
My journey into finance began with a desire to understand the principles of building wealth. Majoring in Finance led me to a career in the banking industry as a commercial lender. During this time, I developed a passion for entrepreneurship, eventually running my own business for over eight years. Selling my business shifted my focus to investing, where I discovered my true passion for wealth management. Over the past three decades, I have enjoyed helping others achieve financial freedom, offering guidance and direction that empower them to reach their goals.
Family has always been at the heart of my life. My wife, Stacy, and I have shared a wonderful journey together, dating since high school, attending college together, and marrying in 1993. She recently retired after nearly 30 years of teaching elementary school. She now enjoys spending time with our sons, Caleb and Luke. Caleb and his wife, Hannah, are the proud parents of our grandson, Clyde. Our youngest son, Luke, resides in the Greenville, SC area.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities, particularly golf, and maintain an active lifestyle through regular workouts at the gym. My involvement extends to serving on the boards of the Dalton Golf and Country Club, Flooring Capital Development Corp., and the Whitfield County Planning Commission. Additionally, I am a member of the Rock Bridge Community Church
Through my experiences and relationships, I strive to help clients understand their financial situations and provide them with a clear path to their goals. Sharing in their success and guiding them on their financial journey is what I find most rewarding.
